U10 Girls Making Final Plans for Orlando, Florida and 2010 AAU Division I Nationals

The Fairfax Stars U10 Girls are traveling to Orlando, Florida this week to participate in the 2010 10 & Under Girls AAU Division I National Championship tournament.

The Stars will open round robin pool play competition on Monday afternoon against Team Arlington Swoosh from Texas. On Tuesday morning, they will take on the Dayton Lady Hoopstars Black. They will complete pool play competition on Tuesday evening against the Alabama Twisters.

The Fairfax Stars AAU basketball program includes teams for girls and boys from ages 7 – 18. Each season teams are selected based on an open tryout, therefore all potential candidates are invited. The foundation of the program is a commitment to teaching fundamental basketball skill development and knowledge of the game. With a talented, experienced, and dedicated roster of volunteer coaches, the Fairfax Stars will enhance your basketball experience and love for the game in an environment of positive reinforcement and fun.
