10 May 8th and 5th Grade Stars Announce Raffle Winners!
The Fairfax Stars 8th grade and 5th grade team recently held a raffle for a one week trip to N Myrtle Beach, SC, staying in a condominium in luxurious Barefoot Resort. Both teams awarded a winner for those who purchased tickets. The winners of the 2017 raffle are:
5th Grade: Aaron Farrow from North Carolina
8th Grade: Ray Cannon from Maryland
Congratulations to both of our winners for this year. The coach of the team will be reaching out to organize your trip!
The 8th & 5th grade teams would like to thank ALL of the people who purchased a ticket for the raffle. Due to your generosity, the 8th Grade team raised $4800 and the 5th grade team raised $4000 towards their Nationals trips. 8th grade will be visiting Indianapolis and Chicago between July 5-12 and the 5th grade team will be visiting Hershey, PA and Philadelphia between June 24 – July 2.
