The Board of Directors decided in 2005 that it was important to recognize outstanding achievements of players, coaches, volunteers, and long-time members of the Board of Directors for their contributions to the Fairfax Stars. Each year, a nominations committee considers candidates and makes a recommendation to the Board of Directors. A spectacular induction ceremony with a special guest speaker and an emotional tribute to the inductees is a celebration at the annual Fairfax Stars Hall of Fame banquet.
