Kyle and Vanessa Locke (Head Coaches)
Coach Kyle and Coach Vanessa are a husband and wife duo that are coaching their inaugural season together for the Fairfax Stars. With over 40 years of coaching experience combined, the two have decided to put their heads together on the basketball court and touch the lives of our growing and very impressionable newly teenage female student athletes.
Both having played and coached on most levels of basketball, they are bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion to the new branch of the Fairfax Stars in Baltimore. Head Coach Kyle just recently finished a very successful tenure at Coppin State University and is currently finishing up a final season assisting Team Melo boys U17 EYBL. #theLockeMethod, as they have been called, have three children that are successful players at the professional, high school and middle school levels. The Lockes are very excited about the opportunity to coach within the organization and are looking forward to a successful season.
