In the event of inclement weather, there are always issues about access to facilities. As you know, typically, if schools are closed, recreation activities are cancelled. However, weekend activities are subject to the determination of the schools and the recreation department and we encourage you to check on whether activities are on as scheduled, or whether they are cancelled due to inclement weather.

. It is also our experience that oftentimes a “crawl” message is posted on Cox Communications cable channel 21 ( Fairfax County Public Schools ) or channel 16 ( Fairfax County Government ).
